Hello all, as I am sure that this does not come as a surprise to you all given the latest news on the province limiting gatherings or events in prevention of spreading the COVID 19 virus and the cancellation of major sports, concerts, and public events that would have 200 or more attendees.
Wesgroup has informed SVFP that they will be closing the River District Center, therefore the Fraserlands Family Drop-in program will also close from March 16 to 27, 2020, until further notice as a precaution and a step to prevent further contamination as the River District Centre is a focal point for many group meetings.
South Vancouver Family Place will continue to operate at our 7710 Nanaimo Street Location as usual [for now] until we are given further instruction by the province VCH or School Board. So the families are welcome to our Family Drop-in program at our main location in Nanaimo Street.
